Website designed with consideration to user's different accessibility challenges
The Skin HQ website was designed as an acessible website using WAI - ARIA roles and landmarks
Also partial implementation of the WCAG 2 guidelines
Accessibility standards and guidelines followed to make the Skin HQ skin cancer clinic website as accessible as possible for hearing and sight impaired users as well as users not using a mouse
It has been created in a way that trys to ensure that it's content is available to as many users as possible, including:
- People with hearing or seeing disabilities who may use assistive technologies such as screen readers which read out parts of the website.
- People with slow internet connections such as dial-up or rural and remote users whose access may be slow and intermittent
- People with non desktop internet devices such as tablets and mobile phones.
- It is designed to load quickly and to not overuse a person's bandwidth allocation which may be precious.
